Men:
The men just got back last night from Waverly, IA for the Wartburg Invite. Again mother nature was not cooperating with the game of golf and the tournament was cut short to a one day event. The weather made the links style course difficult but the players showed mental toughness and played well. Our total score was 314. With conditions the way they were, it was a great finish for us. This upcoming week will be preparation for our home invite which is Friday and Saturday. With mother nature again trying to get in the way, we are keeping our fingers crossed that the weather will cooperate and we will be able to host this event.
Women:
Tomorrow the women travel to Fort Dodge to play in the Iowa Central Invite. Although the weather is supposed to bring rain today, it looks like we are supposed to have nice weather tomorrow. Even though we were unable to practice last week, the girls have been working hard and are going to play the best they can tomorrow. This upcoming week will be further preparation for the upcoming tournament in Waverly.
